3) CONFIRMATION OF PLACE for Members - Once our Administration has received your Registration they will confirm your place by email giving you the following details: Club/Student Name/class/Day/Time/Start date. 

Members will be charged at the end of each calendar month through their respective membership accounts.

  • The Invoice will be sent to you by email through our online invoicing system
  • Once invoice is paid/payment cleared, an automatic receipt will be sent back to you
  • This receipt is confirmation of your place
  • Keep a copy of receipt as proof of payment

NOTE: Payment must be made before the lessons commences

I, the parent/guardian of the named participants, a minor, agree that I and the participant will abide by the rules and regulations of FLOATPLUS which follow the rules and regulations governed by our contracted Club's swimming bye-laws.

I, for myself and the participant and our respective heirs, administrators and successors, intending to be legally bound, hereby release and indemnify Pallister Limited T/A Float Plus, the owner and operators of the facilities used for the programmes, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives from and against all claims, liabilities, damages or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the participants participation in the programmes including, without limitation, participants transportation to/from any programmes, which transportation is authorized.

I further grant FloatPlus the right to use the participant’s name, picture and/or likeness in printed, broadcast, and other material concerning the programmes provided such use is related to the participant’s status as a participant in the programme.



1. Charges for Club Members: Members enrolled in our Group and Private swimming lessons at our contracted clubs will be charged on a term-basis through the respective club. Guests of members will be charged through the members account.

2. Charges for Non-Members: Non-Members/Guests will be billed online through our online billing system for the full term.
3. Invoices: Please note that payment is only deemed paid once you have received a receipt through our online invoicing system. Without this receipt, the payment will be deemed incomplete and it’s will be the sole responsibility of the client to show proof of payment.

Payment must be made before the lessons commence.

4. No refunds or make-ups: No refunds or make-up lessons will be offered to enrolled students for group lessons missed due to illness, injury, personal schedule conflict, or unscheduled pool closures due to weather or other such.

5. Termination of Lessons: Members and Non-Members participating in: 

  • Group lessons must give one month's notice, or payment in lieu, if wishing to terminate whilst enrolled in the term/camp. 
  • Private or Semi-Private lessons must give two week notice, or payment in lieu, if wishing to terminate whilst enrolled in the term/camp.

6. Private or Semi-Private lesson cancellation policy: 

Upon registration for a Private or Semi-Private Lesson and confirmation, note:

  • Where notice to cancel is received less that 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, then the full lesson fee will be charged.
  • Where notice to cancel is received at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, then the following Admin Fee will be charged: $200 for 30-minute class/$400 for 60-minute class.
  • Where notice of lessons to be missed is received before the start of the relevant term, no charge will be levied.

7. Late applicants: Students joining after a course commences will be charged on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of the term if spaces are available.

8. Cancellation of lessons due to bad weather: 

FLOATPLUS lessons may be cancelled in the event of the raising of:

  • Typhoon Signal 3 (outdoor pools) 
  • T8 or higher (indoor pools)
  • Black or Red Rainstorm Warning
  • Lightning and Thunderstorm warnings only if directly effected

In the event that a lesson has to be cancelled, every effort will be made to give at least one hour's notice of the cancellation.

Any message of cancellation will be sent by email / text message / Whatsapp message.

If unsure a class is on, please call your relevant Club for more information. 


  1. For those children attending Waterbabies/Tadpoles /Guppies (for under 4 year olds not yet toilet-trained) classes, the Double-Up System must be used. Leak-proof swim nappies/diapers and swimming suit must be worn in the pool.
  2. If your child has had diarrhea or similar symptoms, wait till symptoms cease and then wait 24 hours before entering a swimming pool.
  3. Students must arrive at the designated class meeting point (to be advised by the instructor) in plenty of time.
  4. Students may not enter the water until an instructor has given clear and obvious permission. 
  5. Once the lesson is completed, students leaving the lesson must not enter the water again in the designated swimming lesson zone. 
  6. Students must go to directly to caregivers/guardians or parents after the completion of classes. 
  7. For outdoor pools sunscreen is essential and must be applied 20 minutes before exposure to the sun.
  8. Long hair must be securely tied back or a swim-cap worn.
